Hey Loves! Happy Thursday. I am not sure about you but I am really ready for this weekend…. this week is dragging on for me. Maybe it is all this back stuff and the uncertainty of whether I will be able to walk each day. Believe me when I saw I know it could be a lot worse. Each day I am thankful and give praise that the pain and uncomfortablenesss is as minimal as it is.

Recently we have been using the phrase tell your own story when we talk to Declan. He’s really infatuated with what Brendan and I were like when we were growing up and therefore wants to tell our story and make it his own. And as I thought more about this I realized the importance of encouraging Declan to tell his own story.
I can not believe we are halfway through July… like actually where does time go???

How do we as parents cultivate and foster the passions and interests we see in our children?? At what age should we do more than encourage and start pushing?? And why so much pressure on ensuring our children have such narrow passions???
